2017 * a Year to Reward yourself * I do

Was talkin’ to a friend the other day who had sent me a text that he now had a one month old son. He was the same friend that once upon a time had talked about marriage and how he wouldn’t do it again, and then he did. He is recently remarried, at 57 years of age.
Can also recall being out for an intimate dinner with someone who shared that the older she got, the less she wanted kids, and then she did. She now has two, and a husband to boot.
My sense is that 2017 could well be like the story of the man who would not be king, until he was. His whole life was spent without worry that he would be responsible for the kingdom, as he had an older brother, and then his older brother was killed, and turns out he would be king.
Save room for yes. Be receptive and in knowing that opportunity will knock. Consider that you have given things your all and that you are now sitting at the end of the rainbow. You made it. The time is now to partake of your pot of gold and just reward at rainbow’s end.
Recall too that the true king wears no crown. Watch out for succumbing to the stereotypical roles of high roller, big wheel and/or big shot. Drink cacao.
Better yet to still yourself, for she is at the quiescent center. Recall that clarity within affords movement without. Is it your year to get pregnant, to get married, or to start your own biz ?? Is it time to travel the far corners of the globe, and/or leave it all behind and go volunteer somewhere ?? Is it the year to build your own home, to grow your own food, to make your own clothes, to say I love you ??
What is it that we said, when we said we couldn’t do that ?? That you shouldn’t do that, or that I wouldn’t do that, and then what if you did ?? Renew your vow to life. Recall that life is for living and that fortune favors the bold.
"Indecision (breeds misfortune and missed fortunes, and) brings its own delays. Days are lost lamenting over lost days. Are you in earnest? Seize this very minute, as…. Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness. Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth that ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one's favor all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man nor woman could have dreamt would have come his or her way. Whatever you can do, or dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it. Begin it now."

take a (big) bite out of the apple.... do the taboo,
