Happy Lion's Gate 888!

After a powerful lunar eclipse last night, today we move into the light with a blessing from the star system Sirius. This annual portal for spiritual transmission is known as the Lion’s Gate 888. The high frequencies of Sirius shine through the Sun in Leo (the cosmic lion and astrological ruler of the heart) to bring us a divine gift.

In the Ageless Wisdom schools, Sirius is known as the spiritual sun. Sort of like our Sun - a source of light, warmth and radiant power for the Earth - has its own mentor, spiritual guide, guru and teacher. That is Sirius. It’s the Sun of our Sun, spiritually-speaking.

Today, our Sun and Sirius are in an especially sacred connection. Imagine how loving, inspired and uplifted you would feel spending time in close contact with your most beloved and luminous teacher, guide, guru or divine friend. Your heart would be open and you’d feel even more uplifted and alive than usual. This is what is happening for our Sun today. We can partake of the cosmic love-bombing by choosing to open our hearts and minds to it. Why not take a moment to witness the sun today as you imagine your heart and mind receiving a divine transmission of healing and love.

The 888 part of the Lion's Gate refers to the 8th day of the 8th month (and this year, the total date adds up to an 8, yielding the third 8). The 8 frequency is linked to the ancient teaching from the Emerald Tablet of Thoth. Essentially that is 'as above, so below'. It refers to the influential relationship between heaven and earth. We can visualise this teaching as being encoded in the symbol of the 8. The upper loop of the 8 represents the workings of the spiritual worlds and the lower loop represents the expression of those workings in the world. Spirit and matter are always intertwining, in relationship with each other.

Today our prayers and blessings are freely flowing. Make sure your heart is speaking for you, not your fears, allow today to be a loving communication between your soul and the twin-suns that are shining a double-dose of divine light for us all. May the blessings of Sirius - long associated with abundance, new life and new cycles - bring you optimism and hope for a beautiful new beginning.
